Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how Yissue Inc ("Yissue," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with GraceBloom (the "App").
GraceBloom is a fully local, offline-first devotional app. You can use the entire App without creating an account, signing in, or connecting to the internet.

The Short Version
GraceBloom does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The App makes no network requests. Everything you create stays only on your device. There are no accounts, no analytics, no tracking, no advertising, and no third-party data sharing.
What the App Does
GraceBloom shows a Scripture verse for every moment of the day, with Stillness mode, a quiet-time timer, Scripture collections, reading plans, verse memorization, a prayer and gratitude journal, reflections, and shareable verse cards. Depending on your use, the App stores information on your device only, including:
- Language preference (English or Spanish) and visual "mood" preference
- Saved verses
- Reflections and journal entries
- Prayer requests and answered prayers
- Gratitude notes
- Reading-plan progress and memorization progress
Information We Do Not Collect
We do not require or collect any of the following:
- Email addresses, accounts, passwords, or sign-in credentials
- Name or contact information (any name you enter for the greeting is stored only on your device and never sent to us)
- Location data
- Advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking
- Analytics or usage telemetry
- Any content synced to Yissue or third-party cloud servers
No Network, No Servers
GraceBloom works entirely offline and does not connect to any server during normal use. Bible text and all content are bundled in the App. Because nothing leaves your device, we have no copy of your saved verses, prayers, reflections, or notes.
Device Permissions
The App does not request access to your microphone, camera, photo library, location, or contacts for its core features. When you share a verse card, the App uses the standard system share sheet, and you choose where it goes; the App does not access your photo library to do so.
Sharing Verse Cards
If you tap "Share," the App generates an image on your device and hands it to your operating system's share sheet. What happens after that (for example, sending it via Messages or posting to a social app) is governed by the app or service you choose, not by GraceBloom.
Third-Party Content & Licensing
Content bundled in the App is used under public-domain or open licenses:
- Bible text: World English Bible (English) and Reina-Valera 1909 (Spanish), both public domain
- Ambient music: licensed under Creative Commons BY-ND 4.0 (attribution provided in the App)
- Typeface: Cormorant Garamond (SIL Open Font License)
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, whose platform policies also apply. We do not sell your personal information.
Children's Privacy
GraceBloom is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Because the App collects no data, there is nothing for us to receive. Questions can be sent to dev@yissue.biz.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because your verses, prayers, reflections, and preferences are stored on your device, you remain in full control. You can delete individual items inside the App, or remove everything by uninstalling the App from your device.
Security
Local data on your device is protected by your device's operating system and your passcode or biometrics. No method of storage is completely secure, but because the App keeps your data on-device and sends nothing to us, your information is not exposed to network transmission by the App.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if the App adds features in the future (for example, optional accounts, cloud backup, or in-app purchases). If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, provide notice on this page.
