This Privacy Policy explains how Yissue Inc ("Yissue," "we," "us," or "our") handles information in connection with ClockBible (the "App").
ClockBible v1.0 is designed as a local-first Scripture companion. You can use the App without creating an account or signing in.

What ClockBible Does (v1.0)
ClockBible helps you encounter Bible verses throughout the day. Depending on your device and settings, the App may store information on your device only, including:
- Language preferences (English, Korean, Spanish, or Portuguese)
- Saved verses
- Reflection notes and personal written reflections
- Reading progress and Topic Scripture selections
- Theme and display preferences
- Widget snapshot data (iOS Home Screen / Lock Screen widgets, when you add them)
ClockBible v1.0 does not include login, social features, prayer networks, or cloud sync of your saved content.
Information Stored on Your Device
When you use ClockBible, the following types of information may be stored locally on your phone or tablet:

We do not operate a ClockBible account server in v1.0. Your saved verses and reflection notes are not uploaded to Yissue servers as part of normal App use.
Information We Do Not Collect in v1.0
For the current version of ClockBible, we do not require or collect:
- Email addresses or user accounts
- Passwords or sign-in credentials
- Social profiles or contacts
- Location data for tracking purposes
- Advertising identifiers for cross-app tracking
- User-generated content synced to Yissue cloud servers
Optional Device Permissions
ClockBible may request limited device permissions only when a feature needs them:
- Photos / media library (optional): If you choose a future export or save-to-photos feature when available, the App may request access. v1.0 does not require photo access for core use.
- Notifications (optional): Not required for core ClockBible v1.0 functionality.
If you deny optional permissions, core Scripture reading, saving, and reflection features can still work using on-device storage.
iOS Widgets
On iOS, if you add a ClockBible widget, the App writes a compact verse snapshot to a shared on-device container so the widget can display Scripture. This data remains on your device and is used only to render your widget. Android widgets are not offered in v1.0.
Third-Party Services
ClockBible v1.0 does not use Supabase, social login, or a Yissue-operated cloud database for your saved content.
Distribution and platform services may still apply:
- Apple App Store (iOS distribution, updates, and platform policies)
- Google Play (Android distribution, updates, and platform policies)
We do not sell your personal information.
Children's Privacy
ClockBible is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has contacted us with personal information, email dev@yissue.biz and we will take appropriate steps.
Data Retention and Deletion
Because your verses, notes, and preferences are stored on your device, you can remove them by deleting individual saved verses or reflection notes inside the App, or by uninstalling ClockBible from your device.
If you email us for support, we may retain correspondence only as long as needed to respond.
Security
We use reasonable organizational practices for any support communications we receive. Local data on your device is protected by your device's operating system and your device passcode or biometrics. No method of electronic storage is completely secure.
International Use
ClockBible is available in English, Korean, Spanish, and Portuguese. If you contact us from outside the United States, your email may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when ClockBible adds features (for example, optional accounts or cloud sync in a future version). If we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and, where required, provide notice in the App or on this page.
